I COME TO SEE
(written by Kevin Langdon)
I come to see
If the proud bright stars are free,
And the brooks that ran
Untouched by man to the sea,
I come to see.
I come to know
Of the mountains melting snow,
Of hill and tree,
Of ecstasy and woe,
I come to know.
I come to cry
For man who soon must die,
For an innocent child
And the wind in the wild dark sky,
I come to cry.
I come to sing,
To make the heavens ring,
Standing proud and tall,
I'll fight and fall like a king,
I come to sing.
I come to see
If the proud bright stars are free
And the brooks that ran
Untouched by man to the sea,
I come to see.
