WE TRAVELLED AND WE TRAVELLED

(learned from Bill Briggs in 1960 at the first Berkeley Teton Tea Party)

(music to go here)

We travelled and we travelled and we travelled till we found
A mouse in the road and it we left behind, looky here!
Some said it was a mouse, some said nay;
Some said it was a bat with the wings cut away, looky here!

Spoon - fork with the tines cut away
Horse - zebra with the stripes cut away
Pigeon - peacock with the tail cut away
Banjo - guitar with a string cut away
Polliwog - whale with skin and blubber cut away
Vest - coat with the sleeves cut away

(dated)
Falcon - T-bird with the chrone cut away
Camel - Winston with the filter cut away
